When your child is undergoing Cancer Treatments, everything else becomes "small ". However, in the battle against cancer, it's often the smallest things that have the largest impact.
At LeenaSun, we are committed to supporting our families with these "small things."
The LeenaSun Foundation's Offerings
The Bountiful Blessings Program
Bountiful Blessings is a Thanksgiving initiative to ease holiday prep for families, allowing them to focus on their child’s medical needs and enjoy the festivities. Families receive wagons, a fully prepared meal, wellness packages for parents, and toys for children.
The Wagon Warriors Program
To alleviate the challenge of carrying medical supplies, personal items (such as books, toys, blankets, and work materials), and even children within the hospital, we offer families a wagon to lighten the physical load.
The Small Things Program ***Coming Soon***
The LeenaSun Foundation understands how overwhelming it can be to balance family, work, friends, and medical obligations. We work closely with families to grasp their unique situations, offering targeted support like cleaners, cooks, transport, groceries, wellness sessions, and mindfulness activities. We're here to lighten the load.
Qualifications for Programs and give-A-Ways
It is our goal one day help Everyone! However, at this point in time we are only taking referrals from families within the Children's Hospital of WI - Milwaukee Campus, that fit the below criteria.
- Diagnosis: Childhood Cancer or life-threatening disease
- Age of Patients: infant to 12 years old
- On Treatment: must sign up within the first three months of being diagnosed.
- Residency: Milwaukee County, Ozaukee County, Waukesha County
