The Wagon Warriors Program
At the heart of our organization is a simple but powerful gesture: the wagon.
Hospital stays come with a heavy load, physically and emotionally. Through our Warrior Wagons Program, we gift families a sturdy, comforting companion to help ease the weight. Whether carrying medical supplies, personal essentials, or the little warriors themselves, each wagon offers relief, dignity, and a small sense of control during uncertain times. It's more than a tool, it’s a reminder that someone cares, and that no family walks this journey alone.
The Bountiful Blessings Program
Bountiful Blessings is our seasonal embrace, a Thanksgiving initiative designed to bring relief, joy, and nourishment to families during one of the most tender times of year.
The holiday season can feel overwhelming for families navigating childhood cancer. Bountiful Blessings brings light, nourishment, and ease during Thanksgiving by delivering fully prepared meals, comforting wellness packages for caregivers, joyful toys for children, and our signature wagons to lighten their hospital load. It’s a moment of grace, a chance to pause, feel supported, and embrace the spirit of togetherness while focusing on what truly matters.
The Small Things Program ***Coming Soon***
At LeenaSun Horizons, we understand how overwhelming life becomes when a child is facing cancer.
Balancing family, work, friendships, and medical obligations can feel impossible, and no one should have to carry that weight alone.
That’s why we work closely with each family to understand their unique circumstances and needs. From cleaners and cooks to transportation, groceries, wellness sessions, and mindfulness activities, our support is personal, practical, and heart led.
We’re here to lighten the load, so families can focus on what matters most: care, connection, and healing.
Qualifications for Programs and give-A-Ways
It is our goal one day help Everyone! However, at this point in time we are only taking referrals from families within the Children's Hospital of WI - Milwaukee Campus, that fit the below criteria.
- Diagnosis: Childhood Cancer or life-threatening disease
- Age of Patients: infant to 12 years old
- On Treatment: must sign up within the first three months of being diagnosed.
- Residency: Milwaukee County, Ozaukee County, Waukesha County
